Dream 18

Now that the dust has settled on the US Open, and the Open Championship at Birkdale is almost upon us, it’s time for us to announce the winner of RBS Dream 18.

We asked you to try to match Jack Nicklaus’s Dream 18 selection, and whilst we received thousands of entries, amazingly, not one person correctly matched all of his 18 choices. John correctly matched 13 of Jack’s choices.

On the next page, we reveal Jacks’ Dream 18 and you can hear audio commentary from the legend himself as he explains why he picked each hole. You will hear why the holes that Jack picked are personal to him and have played a prominent part in his career.

John, from Peterhead, and a friend will be whisked off to the final day of the Open championship on Sunday 20 July to enjoy a day with full hospitality. They will then stay overnight and play a round of golf, hot on the heels of legends, at Royal Birkdale on Monday – a real money-can’t-buy prize.

There were 200 runners-up, who will each win a copy of Moments of the Majors DVD. These will be sent out to the winners within 28 days.
