Terms and Conditions
1. Standard Johnston Press competition terms and conditions apply.
2. The competition is open to UK residents aged 18 or over, except employees of The Royal Bank of Scotland, Johnston Press plc and its associated companies.
3. The game is free to play and entry is limited to one per person.
4. The competition will open on 2nd June 2008 and will close on the 27th June.
5. The winner is the person who exactly matches Jack’s Dream 18 selection. In the result of a tie, all of the winning entries will be entered into a draw. The winner will be drawn at random. If there are no exact matches to Jack’s selection the nearest to it will be the winner and the same will apply if there is more than one match.
6. Registered users must submit their final entry by clicking on ‘submit final entry’ to be entered into the competition. The promoter is not held responsible for any entries which have not been correctly submitted.
7. The promoter cannot be held responsible for any breakdown in communication systems or networks that may result in an entry not being registered.
8. The winner will be selected by 7th July and notified by telephone
9. Winners will be required to participate in publicity organised by the sponsor or promoter.
10. The first prize is one round of golf for two people at Royal Birkdale on Monday 21st July 2008. Tee time TBC. Two entry tickets for The Open Championship on Sunday 20th July 2008 at Royal Birkdale with hospitality in the On-Course Restaurant Hospitality Facility. Overnight accommodation, including breakfast, for two at The Macdonald Hotel in Preston on Sunday 20th July 2008. Framed Open Championship pin flag, signed by Jack Nicklaus. Signed copy of Jack's original notes for the Dream 18. Transport is not included.
11. There will be 200 runners up prizes of Make it Happen Moment of the Majors DVDs. These will be sent to prize winners, by post within 30 days of the closing date.
12. The prize is non-refundable and non-changeable and no cash or alternative prizes are available, except in the event of circumstance outside the control of the promoter. In this case, the promoter reserves the right to substitute this for a similar prize of equal or greater value.
13. The decision of the promoter is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
14. The winner will be announced online on 14th July 2008.
